THE Inaugural Event

Tuesday 16th July 2024

The London Post Club was started with the idea of bringing Retouchers and Digital Artists together to share knowledge, connect, and build a sense of community. Our first event was an incredible success, with 100 people joining for a memorable evening of introductions, stories, and collaboration. Mr Bingo gave an engaging talk that had the entire room captivated, leaving with loads of new fans and sparking fresh ideas. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees thrilled at the chance to meet in person and excited for what’s next.

Many attendees left the event feeling inspired, with new contacts and a renewed drive to push their work forward. The London Post Club is about keeping these conversations going and making space for creativity and collaboration to thrive.

Speaker Mr Bingo

Mr. Bingo, an illustrator, artist, and speaker, is renowned for his unconventional approach to creativity. For 13 years, he worked as a commercial illustrator, collaborating with esteemed clients like The New Yorker, The Guardian, TIME, CH4, The Mighty Boosh, and The New York Times. His fame stemmed from his project “Hate Mail,” where he hand-crafted offensive postcards on a first-come, first-served basis.

After leaving the commercial world, Mr. Bingo has dedicated the past 10 years to being a fully self-supported independent artist. His work frequently blends humor, wit, and satire, boldly challenging conventional notions of art and communication.
